“Fingerquotes….” they’re so damn annoying…
Maybe I’m just bitter because “technically” I don’t know “exactly when” to use these fingerquotes… but come on, it’s not like we cup our hands next to our ears when we use a parentheses… so why do we use these stupid “quotation marks” with our fingers??
